A 3/4 size (also known as a “Super Single” or “Three Quarter”) typically measures 48 inches wide by 72 inches long. This size was very common in older sofa beds from the 1970s-90s and in custom European loveseats.
Q: Will a Full size mattress fit my 48-inch mechanism?
No. A standard Full is 52-54 inches wide. Attempting to force a Full mattress into a 48-inch frame will cause the mechanism to jam and may damage the metal bars. You must use a true 48-inch replacement.
